About us

Taste is everything

Our story began in London in 1987 when we opened the Old Compton Cafe. We soon changed our name and became well renowned as Balan's. We yearned for sunnier climates, palm trees and decided to move stateside in 1997. In 2008 we opened Balan's Bar & Brasserie, located in the heart of Brickell. We are an ALL DAY family owned restaurant. Join us to enjoy a diverse menu with something for everyone.

We are open All Day, Everyday serving a Contemporary American menu with European dishes. Join us for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner and late night.
