Our story began in London in 1987 when we opened the Old Compton Cafe. We soon changed our name and became well renowned as Balan's. We yearned for sunnier climates, palm trees and decided to move stateside in 1997. In 2008 we opened Balan's Bar & Brasserie, located in the heart of Brickell. We are an ALL DAY family owned restaurant. Join us to enjoy a diverse menu with something for everyone.

Enjoy the best restaurant in Brickell. We are open All Day, Everyday serving a Contemporary American menu with European dishes. Join us for Breakfast and enjoy classics like Eggs Benedict or French toast with dleicious smoothies and coffee. Our Lunch menu focuses on a mix of lighter dishes like salads and bowls or if you are looking the best Burger or BLT in Miami. On the Dinner menu guests will enjoy an array of dishes from our Raw bar such as Oysters or Tuna Tartare, golden brown Bang bang shrimp,  fresh pastas plus a mixture of seafood and grill menu items. There is something for everyone to enjoy! 

In 2018 Balan's was re-envisioned, completely renovated and brought back to its roots in a more refined way to reflect the vision of the second generation of Balan's. Jonathan and Keva wanted to create a chic brasserie focusing on European cuisine & craft cocktails, a space that they as foodies can be proud of. It is important to create a space with a great vibe that also delivers on service and quality.
